Quality Control Laboratories:
Our batch plants are equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories to monitor and control the quality of raw materials as well as the design of concrete mixes to ensure that the concrete exceeds the required specifications.
Delta mix is committed to providing the highest quality to our customers. Our batch plants are well-equipped with quality control laboratories that contain state-of-the-art testing equipment to perform quality tests on fresh and hardened concrete as well as acceptance and rejection tests on raw materials, including cement and aggregates with the highest standards of accuracy and consistency.
Strict control of the production process is in line with the quality control management system that we follow in our batching plants. The comprehensive quality control system in the batching plants aims to identify and correct most errors before the concrete is delivered to the sites.
Delta mix is committed to periodic calibration of the equipment and scales used in concrete production and tests are conducted according to special calibration schedules in order to verify that the quality of the batching plants is consistent and the tests conform to standard specifications.
The Delta mix Quality Assurance Program is implemented to verify that the concrete produced conforms to the highest quality standards and that there is consistency in the performance of the concrete mix, regardless of the production date or delivery location.
The company produces and sells concrete according to the specifications of the quality standards and technical requirements of the customers. Our goal is to build strong and extensive relationships with our customers and maximize the benefit and profitability for all parties in the long term.
Therefore, the company does the following:
Selecting the raw materials very carefully by conducting the necessary tests for each component of the concrete to ensure their quality, conformity to standard specifications and suitability for use in concrete mixes in order to achieve the highest levels of quality and durability of the design mix and meet the customer’s requirements.
The concrete mix is designed strictly according to the specifications required by the client or consultant and concrete testing is carried out to achieve optimum performance.
The company is committed to using a computerized centralized mixer control program to achieve the highest levels of accuracy in the concrete mix by controlling the content of aggregates, cement, additives and mixing time.
The quality control laboratories include the following equipment:
— 2000 or 3000 KN ELE automatic pressure testing machine.
— ASTM standard sieves.
— Drying oven.
— Air-confined pressure gauge.
— Precision scales.
— 15*15*15*15*15*15 cm cube molds for concrete testing.
— 5*5*5*5*5*5 cm cube molds for cement testing.
— Cone stagnation cone assembly.
— Curing tanks.
— Scale and elongation index meter.
— 10 liter weighing unit.

— Laboratory mixers.
— Raw materials used in concrete production:
— Delta mix selects the best raw materials used in the production of concrete delivered from local authorized bodies and international companies.
— The company’s quality assurance team verifies the source of materials such as quarries, crushers, and factories and ensures that they have manufacturing test certificates.
— According to the quality control plan, the QA team performs a visual inspection and reviews the invoices received, as well as samples and each raw material received at the batch plants.
— Routine tests are performed on all materials received.
— Aggregates are stored in appropriate containers, according to their sizes.
— Cement is stored in waterproof silos, depending on the type of cement.
— Additives are stored in waterproof containers according to their type. These containers are supplied by the additive supplier according to the standard specifications for these materials.
— The water tanks are fully insulated, made of steel and equipped with a cooling unit to maintain the water temperature at the required mixing temperature
